Ryan Reynolds he’s been keeping himself super busy with all kinds of projects. One of the most anticipated projects he is working on is Deadpool 3, but that has nothing to do with it. This is a teaser for a new National Geographic series titled Losers, on which Reynolds serves as executive producer. Oh, he’s also going to be the narrator for the series, and judging by this teaser, he’s going to really mess with people’s heads.

Losers is a ten-part natural history series that will “shed light on the unique and unpredictable behaviors of a cast of animal characters little known in the natural world, including their camouflage techniques, parenting skills, and courtship rituals.”
Reynolds said in a statement, “I love nature series and I love making things my kids can actually watch. We’re already having a lot of fun trying to give animal docs a new voice. Wildstar has the experience, the experience and cutting edge film technology to help us chew through that healthy National Geographic budget. We’re going to deliver a show that’s funny, surprising, and will do justice to the animals usually stuck as a supporting cast.”
Courtney Monroethe president of National Geographic Content added: “Losers represents an entirely new take on the natural history genre that is sure to delight and inform audiences of all ages. With the irreverent wit of Ryan and Maximum Effort and Wildstar’s award-winning wildlife storytelling expertise, we’ve assembled the perfect team to tell the entertaining stories of nature’s unsung heroes with humor and heart.”
Wildstar’s Dan Rees shared: “Losers explore the animal world with a fresh, funny and very entertaining perspective. Working so closely with Ryan and Maximum Effort has allowed us to immerse ourselves in their inimitable humor every step of the way, from conception to delivery of this unique series. As a result, “Underdogs” will have you snorting with laughter and maybe even spilling coffee in your lap, but ultimately puts the spotlight on some of our planet’s strangest and least explored inhabitants, and all backed by solid science and Research.”
Check out the trailer below and the series will release in 2025.
There’s a species of Canadian badger that feeds exclusively on Saskatoon berry pie. This is obviously not true at all, but if it were, we would be documenting them in Underdogs. @NatGeoTV 2025 pic.twitter.com/ZnJfcOes9p
