Netflix has released a trailer for a charming new romantic comedy titled Your place or mine. The film is the protagonist Reese Witherspoon And Ashton Kutcher like best friends who swap houses for a week and realize they might have feelings for each other.
The synopsis reads: “Debbie and Peter are best friends and total opposites. She craves routine with her son in Los Angeles; he thrives on change in New York. When they swap homes and lives for a week, they find that what they think what they want may not be what they really need.”
Speaking about the project, Kutcher said, “Over the years, with every rom-com I thought about doing, I always asked if Reese was available. I’ve wanted to work with her my entire career. And so, when I was approached about this film I immediately said yes.”
The cast of the film also includes Jessie Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Griffin Matthews, Shiri Appleby, Rachel Bloom, Vella Lovellwith Tig Notary And Steve Zahn. Looks like it’s going to be a good rom-com!
Your place or mine was written and directed by the writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who is making his feature film directorial debut. He previously directed a few episodes of Crazy ex-girlfriend series. She is best known for writing films like Three to Tango, Laws of attraction, The devil wears Prada, 27 Dresses, Morning glory, We bought a zoo, Annieand the Crazy ex-girlfriend TV series.
Jason Bateman he is also a producer on the project and Netflix will release Your place or mine on February 10, 2023.
