Shudder has released a fun trailer for an upcoming horror comedy titled I’m sorry about the demon, and it looks like a pretty funny movie! The story centers on a character named Will, who, after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves into a haunted house where the spirit demands human sacrifice. It looks like the movie offers some great comedic moments with this concept!

The film follows the “heartbroken will (Jon Michael Simpson), who after being dumped by his girlfriend Amy (Paige Evans), a huge house is suddenly offered at a very low rent. Trouble is, the restless spirit that haunts the place needs a human sacrifice and the previous owners must find one or else their young daughter is toast. So, Will must figure out how to fix things with his ex-girlfriend AND banish the sacrifice-seeking demon that still resides in his house.
The film was written and directed by Emily Hagins (My Sucky Teen Romance, Grow Up Tony PhillipsAnd Coin theft). The film is also the protagonist Jeff McQuitty, Olivia Ducayen, Dave PeniukAnd Sarah Cleveland.
I like the lighthearted humor I see in this trailer mixed with the creepy horror aspect of the film. Looks like it’s going to be a fun movie to watch! I’m sorry about the demon streaming on Shudder starting January 19, 2023.
