The YOU Season 4 trailer finds Joe being stalked by a new killer in London

New year, new country, new character, yet Joe can’t seem to shake the past.

Netflix has released the first official trailer for You Season 4, and shows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badley) who lives in London as a teacher at a university where he ends up running into a group of people full of “privileged assholes”.

As he fights the urge to attach himself to another woman, another killer emerges and Joe finds himself turning from predator to prey. He is now on a mission to find out who is stalking him.

In You Season 4, “Pretending to be a literature professor named Jonathan Moore at a London university, Joe is surprised to find that he enjoys teaching, despite being surrounded by self-absorbed socialites. But when members of London’s wealthy elite start dropping like flies, Joe discovers there may be another killer among him.

The trailer also features the return of Tati Gabrielle as love interest Marienne Bellamy, who fled the country after discovering the truth about Joe’s heinous crimes. The third season of the series ended with Joe moving to Paris to look for Marienne after he faked his own death.

Season 4 is also starring Charlotte Richie like Kate. “She’s freaking smart, independent, suspicious, she doesn’t miss a thing. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, a brick wall to everyone else. Daughter of a chaotic and bohemian single mother, Kate worked hard to create the life she now leads. She is an art gallery director whose job is to manage tempestuous artists.

The psychological thriller series is based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes which follows Joe Goldberg, a man who will do anything when love is on the line, including torturing and killing people. You Season 4: Part 1 will premiere on February 9, 2023 with Part 2 arriving on March 9.
