Variety recently reported that Wonder Woman won’t be involved at all, saying, “As 2023 kicks off, DC bosses Gunn and Safran continue to sift through the wreckage and will soon reveal their three-year interconnected vision for the cinematic universe, which won doesn’t include Cavill’s Superman or Wonder Woman at all.”

We knew the studio would not be moving forward with Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman 3, but I thought there was a chance we could see some sort of Wonder Woman reboot, like the one Gunn is currently developing for Superman. That Superman movie is the only thing we know for sure is coming in the plan, and there’s a good chance there will be a Batman movie too.

Well, after that report came out, Gunn agreed Chirping to debunk the news by saying, “I hereby debunk it (only because it’s not true).” What’s unclear, however, is whether Gal Gadot will remain in the role following the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3.

Gunn too confirmed the length of the DC list, telling a fan “our list runs from 8 to 10 years old (but we’re only announcing a portion of that this month).”

I never doubted that one day we would see another Wonder Woman movie, I have no idea what it will be like, or if Gal Gadot will return to the role.

What would you like DC Studios to do with Wonder Woman when they finally do it?
