Most of the world was surprised when The Guardian published an excerpt from prince harrynext memory, Savein which he detailed an alleged quarrel with his older brother, prince William. When text of the alleged fight (“William turned the water down. So he called me by another name”) appeared on the screen, the Princes took action, with Prince 1 saying, “You idiot!” comically accented A smackdown ensued, with ‘Prince’ Harry falling into a dog’s bowl of kibble. “That’s how it sounds when doves cry!” said “Prince” William. As the story reaches the line “So I made him face the music,” “Prince” Harry picks up one of Prince’s guitars and plays a killer solo. Unfortunately the reconstruction not finish with one move know-it-all‘ ‘Two princes,’ but maybe “Weird” Al Yankovic do something with it.
Kimmel’s recreation may have been exaggerated, but the shared text was exactly what Harry wrote in his memoirs, Save. Harry wrote that William visited his brother at Nottingham Cottage to complain Megan Markle, who Harry later said was “repeating the story in the press” about his wife, “and that he expected more”. This allegedly led to the two brothers “yelling at each other” which would have sparked a fight.

“He went down to the water, called me by another name and then came up to me,” Harry wrote. “It all happened so fast. Too fast. He grabbed me by the neck, ripped my neck off and threw me to the floor. I landed in the dog bowl, which broke under my back, cutting me to pieces. I stood there for a moment, dazed, then stood up and told him to go away. William wanted Harry to hit him back, which the young prince refused to do. Harry wrote that William, as he walked away, “got He turned around and said: I have to tell Meg.” “You mean you attacked me? “I didn’t attack you, Harold.”
Harry doubled down on the allegations in a sneak peek of his Jan. 8 interview with ITV. “What was different here was the level of frustration,” said Harry. “I’m talking about the ‘red haze’ that I’ve had for so many years, and I saw this ‘red haze’ in him. He wanted me to hit him again. But I chose not to.
