Ana de Armas reveals action scene with Keanu Reeves in ‘John Wick’ spin-off

‘John Wick’ is still waiting for the release of its fourth chapter, in cinemas around the world. However, Keanu Reeves is not resting and will also participate in ‘Ballerina’, the first spin-off of the franchise. This film will star Ana de Armas, who revealed a tough action scene with the protagonist of the main saga.

During an interview for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ana de Armas has revealed that there is an action scene ‘dancer’ with Keanu Reeves, which was too physically demanding. Also, she claims that she is not comparable in size to ‘No Time To Die’, a film in which she has already demonstrated her skills as an action actress.

Of, Ana de Armas has revealed new details of ‘dancer’: “We’ve been in Prague for four months for filming, we still have a month left. And I have pain. My body hurts, my back, everything. I moan, it hurts, I have bruises. […] The other day, Keanu and I were rehearsing our stunt scene really hard, and this man was just rolling me over and flipping me and doing these crazy stunts. And I’m like, I can’t complain anymore, I’m done. Because he’s doing it!”

Currently, ‘dancer’, the spin-off of ‘John Wick’ it doesn’t have a release date, but will feature Ana de Armas, famous for roles in ‘No Time To Die’, ‘Blade Runner 2049’ and the recent ‘Blonde’ which was a real scandal for Netflix. As for the plot, details have been kept under wraps, but it is known that the story follows a young woman trained as an assassin from an early age, who seeks revenge against those who murdered her entire family.

The future of the ‘John Wick’ franchise.

‘Ballerina’ will be released sometime in 2024 and will be directed by Len Wiseman, the same person responsible for ‘Underworld’, and with a screenplay written by Shay Hattem, the same as the third installment of the main saga. As for “John Wick 4”, the next film with Keanu Reeves will be released on March 24th, a date that will be definitive, after having suffered several delays.

As for the rest of the cast of ‘Ballerina’, along with Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves there is also Ian McShane, the manager of El Continental, and who will also have his own spin-off. Second is Norman Reedus, best known for his role as Daryl Dixon in ‘The Walking Dead’. And finally the presence of Gabriel Byrne, Chloë Grace Moretz and Anjelica Huston complete the cast.

The production of ‘Ballerina’ will take another month, and until then, we can wait for the next news about the film which will star Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves. And perhaps in the middle of this year the first images of the shoot will begin to arrive, which with good luck will also reveal a trailer.
