I have here a couple of trailers for you to watch from a new CG animated film from China titled Deep sea, and this film has an incredibly beautiful visual style! The movie looks so good as the visuals are so wildly vibrant and it is mesmerizing!

Deep sea builds a new different underwater world and tells the story of “a girl who meets a unique life journey, searching and searching in the mysterious underwater world. The images like the huge maelstroms, the peculiar fish, the eyes in the maelstroms featured in the poster all show the tip of the iceberg of the deep sea world. The girl swimming in the whirlpool firmly recognizes the slogan on the poster: “Where the heart goes is deeper than the sea.”

The film was directed by Tian Xiaopeng (Monkey King: The hero is back), and regarding the art style, it is explained: “Although ancient stories are popular among Chinese animation works in recent years, Deep Sea will apply a different way, using a unique oriental aesthetic to interpret a fantasy story with a modern background.”

The voice cast has yet to be announced and will be released in China sometime this year in 2023.
