A fan movement launched with #UnwhitewashTheBadBatch and the creative team and producers have now revealed they have fixed the problem. In an interview with Collider, director of the series Brad Rau they said they blacked out the characters in season 2 and also went back and did the same thing for the characters in season 1.

“We’ve listened to all of the fans’ concerns. Interestingly, in Season 1, before Season 1 came out, we always did that, went back to looking at skin tones, and made some corrections to make sure we’re staying true to the legacy of the fans.” clones in Clone Wars. Absolutely, 100%.”

The characters that make up The bad lotwith the exception of Echo, they appear darker than in the first trailer.

Regardless, I enjoyed season 1 of The Bad Batch and the first two episodes of season 2 recently came out on Disney+!
