‘AGT: All-Stars’ Recap: Howie Mandel Gives His Golden Ringtone to Inspire Ukrainian Teens

The best of the best will face each other in the new series AGT: all stars. Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandeland guest sponge crews once again crowned an act as the best all-star. During the premiere episode on Jan. 2, only Howie can hit the golden buzzer, sending an act straight to the finale.

Cali DrinkerSimon’s Golden Buzzer from season 11, returns to AG extension phase. When she was 15, she was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer. She got over it and is now 23 years old. She performs the first song she wrote AGT: all stars. Howie tells Caly that “it seemed little halsey-the thing is.” Heidi adds, “I think you did.” After Caly leaves, Simon tells the judges, “That was special.”

Canada has talent winner Jeannick Fournier takes the stage to give an impressive rendition of Lady Gaga “I will never love again.” Heidi commends that Jeanick is truly “amazing”. Howie tells Jeanick that she makes him “proud” to be Canadian and he thinks she is even better off now than when she was in Canada. Canada has talent.

His presentation is fun, interactive, and perfect for a Vegas show. “It was the best performance you’ve ever done,” says Simon. “If anything defines a star, it’s that performance.” Howie thinks Light Balance Kids has “an amazing message.” He wants to help them in any way possible. He hands them his Golden Buzzer and sends them straight over the finish line!

Howie stands up to applaud the fantastic performance. “I think it was a step up from anything we’ve seen from you before,” Howie tells Alan. Simon thinks it was “the best thing” he’s ever seen at an air show.

AG extension season 16 contestant Jimmie Herrod impresses the judges with her beautiful performance of of joji “A flash of us.” Your voice is truly unique. “That’s how you do it,” says Simon before adding that the performance was “absolutely brilliant.” Howie makes a bold statement about Jimmie’s talent. “You are, in my opinion, the greatest male vocalist in the history of music. AG extension,” he says.

The final performance of the evening comes from AG extension season two champion sponge factor. he carries a Elton John puppet during his number and sings “Rocket Man” with two puppets. “You’re a legend.
