For several years away from the Hollywood cameras and spotlight, Tobey Maguire is back to acting in style. While promoting his new movie, ‘Babylon,’ the original Peter Parker actor revealed that he kept two of Spiderman’s suits, designed by Sam Raimi, and now uses them as his trusty pajamas.

In a question and answer session on the social network Reddit, to promote the film “Babylon” by Damien Chazelle, Tobey Maguire revealed the secrets of ‘Spiderman’, the Sam Raimi trilogy. To the surprise of many fans, Maguire has revealed several anecdotes about filming movies, and there was one in particular that made many of his followers smile.

Thanks to one of the questions, Tobey Maguire has revealed that he has two of the Spider-Man suits at home: “I have a red Spidey suit and a black Spidey suit. Both are my pajamas!” Maguire isn’t the first nor the last to keep things from the recording set, as many movie stars have revealed that they still keep some belongings of their most beloved characters.

However, what Tobey Maguire still has Spiderman costumesreveals the actor’s fondness for one of the best web-slinger stories ever made on the big screen. Although many would like those outfits to be displayed in some Marvel exhibition or museum, to admire one of the most iconic Spider-Man designs.

Spiderman’s uncomfortable costumes at the cinema

In addition to the uncomfortable Spider-Man costumes, other actors have also remained in their suits, such as Superman’s Henry Cavill or Batman’s Christian Bale. And while technology has advanced over the years to allow for more comfortable designs, many agree that bringing all this characterization to their characters makes the job difficult, on occasion.

Even Andrew Garfield, star of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man,’ agreed that the suit isn’t the best look to play the wall crawler: “We were like, ‘Oh my God, it’s hard for you to pee in the It’s hard for me to urinate in my suit!” she recalled after her appearance on ‘No Way Home’ with Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.

At present, fans are still waiting for the making of ‘Spiderman 4’ which Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire have been keen to participate in. However, everything is in the hands of Sony, which is currently developing its own cinematic universe, which needs a Spiderman who connects with all the villains.
