He won the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball trophy two years ago in 2020 with his professional partner Oti Mabuse.
And Bill Bailey, 57, claims he still can’t go anywhere without people asking him to show off his movement skills.
But the comedian insists he was more than happy to perform at his cousin Uisce’s recent wedding after she said yes.

He told the Mirror: “My cousin recently got married and they are grown up. Me and die-hard fans were like, ‘Oh no, Uncle Bill on the dance floor, let’s go’.
Sure enough, once I showed up to do some dancing, I saw them talking to the band. Then I could hear, “I said – a hip, hop…”
‘Of course I did. I brought up part of the routine and danced with the bride. How could I not?’

Meanwhile, Bill reflected on his time on the show with Oti and said he was excited to take part in the multi-generational show in the middle of lockdown, at a time when it was bringing viewers together across the country.
He said: ‘The year I was involved we were in the middle of a lockdown. The interest was great, so I was in the spotlight in a way that I am not usually.”
It comes after Bill said he wants to represent Britain at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest and wants the Strictly Pros to perform with him.
The competition will be held in Liverpool this year after the UK finished second to Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra this year as the country is unable to host the event due to security concerns amid the ongoing war in the country.
Bill has written a song in French about a crow that he uses as part of his stand-up routine and thinks the tune could be too good at the Eurovision Song Contest.
He told The Mirror: “The French are doing very well in the Eurovision Song Contest because they seem to be doing well. I wrote this ballad about a child who befriends crows.
“It’s like a 1970s TV show in one song, all in French. It was fun.’
He added of Strictly’s dancers: ‘Let the pros do a big number.’ I mean, it’s in the bag, isn’t it?’
