Andrea McLean insisted she had “no regrets” about leaving Loose Women, saying she had a nervous breakdown a few years ago.
Andrea said that at the time people told her she was “brave” to make a decision. They said his words inspired him to write his fourth book, which aims to help people change their lives in 10 days.
He told Lorraine: “I’m back on TV and back in the room we shared with Loose for the first time. one [brave decision] and the reason the whole book came out was because a lot of people at the time told me you were brave enough to do it, turn around.
“And I kept thinking, ‘I don’t feel brave, I’m really scared but this was something I really had to do.
“And then I thought, okay, how can I put it all in a bottle where I’m brave when I’m scared and set up a 10-day challenge for my beautiful ensemble, and then I saw the results and I did it brave enough.’

Opening: The 52-year-old TV presenter told ITV that she decided to leave Loose Women because she didn’t want to regret having eaten her way up when she first returned to ITV.
Andrea also revealed that she had a nervous breakdown trying to “be busy” a few years ago.
She said that while encouraging others to “learn from my mistakes”, she tries to stay busy rather than taking time to think about how she’s feeling or what’s going on.
Andrea explained: “A few years ago I had a nervous breakdown in Lorraine, went back and forth and really didn’t want to see what was going on.
“I was just trying to stay busy and not think. Learn from my mistakes and stop for a while.’
The Scottish reporter urged people to write a little something on a piece of paper that would make them happy, then urged them to make it happen in their own day.

Resignation: When she came to Lorraine on Monday to talk about her new book, she admitted it was a “big decision” for her. You just have to believe it.
Andrea retired from Loose Women after 13 years on the show in December 2020 and later admitted that she suffered months from the decision.
In an interview with OK! Magazine said: ‘It was a very slow burner. When it arrived, it certainly seemed like the right thing to do. It was a strange decision – it was scary! ‘
‘We’ve been thinking about this for months. We prepared for the worst and hoped for the best. Nick and I sat down and wrote down what we needed to prepare for.
She left the show to work on the website This Girl Is On Fire, which covers health and lifestyle, among other things.
Andrea and Nick now work full time with the company and Nick’s daughter is on board.

Last year, Andrea also admitted that she was worried she would “never earn a penny” or that she would have to “sell her house” after leaving the daytime show.
Speaking about the next episode of Natalie Anderson’s podcast, The Capsule in Conversation, acquired by The Sun Online, the 51-year-old presenter revealed that she and her husband, Nick Feeney, had a deep conversation about the logistics of her big career change.
He explained: “I knew I had to take a deep breath and be brave.
“So Nick and I sat down and worked very logically, it’s also a very exciting experience to quit a job you’ve been doing for twenty years and it’s all you know, to shoot absolutely well and do something completely different. It’s also very exciting practice.’
He continued: “We sat down and said, ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’ We said. That’s right, I never make a penny. We’re going to have to sell the house. Maybe we should sell the kids, maybe the dog!
Andrea burst into tears when she announced her plans to leave Loose Women in November 2020, and also shared how her breakup was linked to a nervous breakdown.
Andrea explains: “Like so many people, this was a time of great reflection and reflection.
“A lot of people talked about not being able to wait for life to return to normal. Like so many people I did and asked, ‘Do I want my life back to the way it was?’ I thought.

Changes: Andrea previously revealed that she and her husband, Nick Feeney, spoke in-depth about the logistics of her big career change (pictured together in 2019)
He told the audience: “Last year I had a nervous breakdown and this year the world had a crash. This year, I was too strong mentally to deal with everything the pandemic brought us.
‘Do you have a life, do you live it the way you want it? Are you brave? Do whatever you want?’
Andrea got excited and added: “I didn’t think I was crying. I told you just before takeoff, girls. I’m leaving Loose Women because I want to be brave…
“I want to bring to life all the great feedback and support I can give them about my book. It was a very, very important decision to jump and see if I fell. And I thought, I’ll never know if I don’t try, so I say goodbye to Loose Women.
