A new movie about the hero’s adventures may be released in the near future.
Should they decide to reboot the Zorro movies, Antonio Banderas knows who could replace him. The actor dreams of transferring his mask in the new picture to this particular person.
In the first film, Banderas’s character received a Zorro mask from its previous owner, played by Anthony Hopkins. The actor even offered Quentin Tarantino to shoot a new movie.
Banderas offered to play the new Zorro to Tom Holland, known from the latest series of films about Spider-Man.
“I did Uncharted: Off the Cards with him and he is so energetic and fun, he has that spark too. So why not? If they call me to star in Zorro, then I will do like Anthony Hopkins in the first film before me, that is, I will pass the torch to someone else,” Banderas said in an interview with Hollywoodreporter.
