In the final on April 3, they became Dancing with the Stars champions.
The next day, Grant Denyer, 44, and dance partner Lily Cornish, 22, had breakfast together at Sydney’s Darling Harbor to celebrate their big win.
The friends all smiled as they danced in the street before sitting down for a bite to eat, still stunned by the previous night’s victory.

Lily looked gorgeous in her ankle-length white dress and brown boots paired with a shoulder bag.
She wore light makeup to accentuate her bold lines and styled her hair in a soft beachy wave.
Meanwhile, the father of three, Grant looked cool and casual in a white T-shirt, dark jeans, and brown boots.

The two of them fell into deep conversation as they sat at the table, sipping healthy green smoothies and what looked like celebratory espresso martinis.
The TV presenter, who first won the DWTS in 2006, had returned home the day before with the much-loved mirror ball trophy with professional dancer Lily.
Grant, who is married to wife Chezzi Denyer, said after his victory: “This show means the world to me, I absolutely love it.
“If I wasn’t dancing or presenting, I’d change the light bulbs on the roof.

The last six names were Courtney Act, David Rodan, Deni Hines, Grant Denyer, Kris Smith and Ricki-Lee Coulter.
Grant and Lily’s journey on DWTS clouded somewhat after New Idea published a front page article on October 18th that falsely accused the couple of an affair.
The magazine featured photos of Grant holding his hand on Lily’s thigh during rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars: All Stars in Sydney.

Champions: The TV presenter, who first won Dancing with the Stars in 2006, had returned home with her pro Lily the previous day with a mirror ball trophy.

Passion for dance: “This show means the world to me, I absolutely love it,” said Grant, who is married to his wife, Chezzi Denyer, after his victory.
The photos were accompanied by the caption “Grant Denyer Caught,” while the full footage was later released, offering a more complete picture of what was happening.
The original article implied that Grant and Lily were cheating on their respective partners – a claim Denyers vehemently denied – but the photos themselves actually suggested a platonic relationship.
Daily Mail Australia does not recommend cheating.
For example, Grant at one point put his hand on Lily’s thigh, but that wasn’t necessarily a sincere gesture.
A photograph of the young woman patting her leg paternally, it seems, believes this to have happened.

False Claims: Their Dancing with the Stars journey clouded a bit after New Idea published a story on Oct.
There were other times when they acted like normal friends and colleagues.
Photos of them looking relaxed at a boat party and clasping their arms outside were apparently cropped to look like they were alone.
In fact, they were surrounded by their co-stars, including former bachelorette party Angie Kent and Morning Show host Kylie Gillies.
Grant later admitted to “embarrassing” his family and told 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin with The Morning Crew that the photos show him consoling his friend after receiving some sad personal news.
The photos were taken by a paparazzo a few minutes after he and Lily had finished talking to his wife, Chezzi, via FaceTime, he said.
“It’s such a terrible, made-up story that it’s embarrassing for everyone,” he said.

Nearby: Lily (right) is a close friend of Grant (left) and his wife Chezzi (center). The trio shared this provocative photo after the unfounded allegations were revealed.
“I was just on the phone with Chezzi, we were on FaceTime… It’s been a bit of a rough day and Lil has had some issues in her personal life”.
“It’s not for me to explain what happened” [the personal issue] but I was giving him pep talk and daddy advice,” she added.
“I stroked his leg and after a conversation he leaned forward a little for a hug and this is the picture in the photo. [New Idea] first page.’
Lily also talked about her New Idea story and shared an Instagram post where she thanked her fans for their understanding.
Thank you all for the nice words and messages. I really appreciate the amount of love that came out of this unpleasant / disrespectful situation. Kill with kindness,” he wrote.
Grant and his wife publicly denied the New Idea report the week it was published in a series of social media posts.
Chezzi posted screenshots of the article on Instagram, criticizing the magazine for making up such a “stupid and bad” story.
He went on to say that the photographer who took the photos apologized for the photos that were “taken out of context”.

Withdrawal: In December, New Idea apologized to Lily, Grant, and wife Chezzi after publishing the false story. Lily reposted the post’s apology on Instagram (left) and also read the 7News Sydney report on New Idea’s withdrawal.
She also stated that Lily’s longtime boyfriend, Jock White, visited her while she was rehearsing for DWTS.
Grant later published his own brutal statement, describing the article as a “brutal” attack on a “22-year-old boy” and “father of three girls”.
In December, New Idea apologized to Lily, Grant, and his wife, Chezzi, after publishing the false story.
Tabloid colluded with Denyers after calling lawyers for a front-page story suggesting Grant had a romantic relationship with Lily.
The publication published the apology on paper and online, acknowledging that the story was false and that Grant and Lily were never in a relationship.
Apology, “On October 18, 2021, [publisher] Are Media and New Idea published an article explaining that Grant Denyer’s dance partner, Dancing with the Stars: All Stars, had an extramarital affair with Lily Cornish and his wife, Chezzi, was heartbroken. The article was fake.
