Foreigners did not like everything in the film.
The Russian cult film “Brother-2” by Alexei Balabanov inevitably attracted the attention of American viewers, because in it a significant part of the action takes place in Chicago. But moviegoers from America were shocked by what they saw.
On the mailbox portal, which collects user reviews, viewers from the United States speak negatively about the photo with Sergei Bodrov.
In their opinion, the film is full of senseless cruelty and racism. There were also complaints about the actions of the main character – many did not like his excessive ruthlessness.
Some users called the tape “Balabanov’s worst film”, and some did not like the fact that in the picture they again “drink vodka and fight”.
“I don’t understand why Danila Bagrov is considered a cult character?”, “I didn’t expect it to be worse than the first part. I just watched out of curiosity how the United States is portrayed in Russian movies, and I’m very disappointed,” the Americans write in their reviews.
