Henry Cavill is back as Superman and is now planning the future of the beloved superhero like the Man of Steel sequel is in the works at DC Studios. Cavill made his recent appearance as Superman in Black Adambut it’s safe to say it will take a while before we see him again.
Meanwhile, Cavill talks about his return to Superman and in a recent interview with Screen Rant he shared some of his vision of the character saying:
“There is so much in the way of conversations to have. Obviously, I have a very close bond with the character. And there is something extraordinarily special about him; extraordinarily special in his ability to give and to love. I don’t know that means. romantically; I mean his love for the Earth and the people who live here, and for making people feel powerful, for making people feel like Superman themselves.
He went on to talk about what he’s aiming for, saying he wants audiences to leave theaters feeling like they can fly:
“Of course I have a lot of wishes for this, which will be discussed at a longer time. But the most important thing, which I will aim for, is for the audience to leave the cinema and feel like they can fly, feel like they can protect and feel like they want to. give to everyone else. That would be my goal. “
I love! During a previous interview, the actor shared his excitement about returning to the role and anticipated that the next story he will tell will feature a “joyful Superman”, and it’s something I’m incredibly excited to see. He said:
“The character means a lot to me. It’s been five years now. I have never lost hope. It’s amazing to be here now talking about it again. There is such a bright future ahead of the character. I am so excited to tell a story with an extremely joyful Superman ”.
Superman’s future looks bright with Cavill back in the role! He will devote himself to this character and leave The sorcerer series to focus his attention on it. We don’t know when we’ll see Cavil as Superman again, but fans are thrilled and can’t wait to see what his next story will be!
