A case where success does not bring happiness.
Vladimir Tolokonnikov is known to the public for the role of Sharikov in the film Heart of a Dog. But not everyone knows that this image changed the artist’s life forever.
Tolokonnikov worked in the theater of Almaty and was quite popular there, but then he was invited to play in the cinema. The role of Sharikov in “The Heart of a Dog” turned out to be a key role for the actor – after the premiere of the film, he became famous all over the country.
True, in the end fame did not bring him happiness, because after the picture of Vladimir Bortko, the actor began to offer the same characters, very similar to Polygraph Poligrafovich. This was told in a documentary on Central Television.
The artist was never able to get rid of the “ghost” that had stuck to him. He has had to prove for years that he can play other characters and types. But even after the death of Tolokonnikov, Sharikov did not flinch, because journalists wrote in obituaries that the actor from Heart of a Dog had died.
