The actress does not give up.
Amber Heard prepares for new trials with ex-husband Johnny Depp. This time she has little time and only one attempt. With another loss, the multimillion-dollar debt will linger on Hurd, and apparently that’s why Depp’s outrageous ex-wife has decided to take emergency measures.
The actress, who was found guilty of defaming Johnny Depp, has reportedly fired most of her lawyers, including her lead attorney. Hurd’s new representatives will overturn the court’s decision to award the ex-husband $10.4 million in damages. The deadline for submitting an objection is September 4.
“We are confident that the Court of Appeals will properly apply the law regardless of popularity, reverse the decision against Ms. Heard and uphold the fundamental principles of free speech,” Deadline quoted Hurd’s lawyers as saying.
