Family plan: Letizia, Felipe and their daughters have dinner with Queen Sofia and Irene of Greece

Kings Felipe and Letizia enjoyed their first family outing, and although it is a private plan, they have allowed journalists to take several photos where we saw the family leaving the establishment. The King and Queen took their two daughters, Infanta Sofia and Princess Leonor, to dinner at the Ola del Mar restaurant, but they didn’t go alone, they were joined by Queen Sofia and her inseparable sister, Irene of Greece. The family enjoyed a seafood and fish dinnerthe specialty of the restaurant.

According to the restaurant’s website: “After ten years of experience as a restaurant manager, Guillermo Cabot began his personal challenge with his own restaurant Ola del Mar. After five years, Ola del Mar is considered one of the best restaurants in Palma. . This result is not a milestone for Guillermo, but rather an incentive to keep improving and ensure a high level of quality and service for customers.” Last summer we saw the same picture, the family enjoying dinner at what seems to have become one of their main restaurants.

It’s about the first image where we see Queen Sofia with her two granddaughters in Mallorca, as Letizia and Felipe attended the reception in Marivent last Thursday without the Infanta Sofia and Princess Leonor. Leonor wore a long green dress with black stripes and matching espadrilles for the occasion, while her sister Sofía also opted for a long printed dress, which she also paired with cream espadrilles. Don Felipe, for his part, wore a linen shirt, white trousers and comfortable beige sneakers, and Doña Letizia chose another long black and white dress. Queen Sofia opted for an outfit in light colors and her sister Irene from Greece chose black trousers and a white and blue printed shirt.

Last summer we saw the same picture. It was the first photo of the five royals together in the Balearic Island since 2019, when they were unable to enjoy the holiday due to health restrictions. Last year’s plan was also joined by Irene from Greece, and the marriage formed by Tatiana Radziwill and Jean Henri Fruchaud. Doña Sofía was surrounded by her two granddaughters, one on each side, and the gestures of affection and complicity between the three made it clear that they had a good relationship.

On that occasion, the princess of Asturias wore a coral dress, sandals and her hair in two braids, like her sister’s, who opted for a beige jumpsuit and platform espadrilles. Queen Letizia opted for a long black dress with matching handbag and wedges. King Philip wore a look similar to this summer, light blue shirt, black pants and beige shoes. Although many quarrel between Letizia and Queen Sofia, it seems that the issues between them have been resolved over time. The moment, unfortunately captured by the cameras, happened in 2018 when the family left La Seu. Queen Sofia took her two granddaughters with her for the photo, while Doña Letizia tried to get between the photographers and her mother-in-law. It was then that Princess Eleanor threw away her grandmother’s arm and clearly supported her mother. The press condemned Letizia and showed their unconditional support to Queen Sofia.
