Chris Pine discusses the highly anticipated Dungeons & Dragons movie –

Chris Pine is very excited for his highly anticipated movie Dungeons & Dragons, which is currently in post-production.

While talking about Dungeons & Dragons, the 41-year-old actress promoted her new movie All Old Knives in an interview with Collider.

While fans will have to wait another year to see the movie, which will hit theaters on March 3, 2023, Pine compared it to the hit series Game of Thrones… and The Princess Bride.

‘Hate. I mean, we had a lot of fun doing this. Lots of laughter,” Pine began.

“As I explained, it’s like Game of Thrones mixed with a little princess bride, just a touch of the Holy Grail,” said Pine, adding, “she’s somewhere on the sidelines.”

He added that the movie was “very funny and has “a lot of suspense” and that the movie was “poppy” and felt “for the ’80s” with “a little bit of Goonies”.

While Pine didn’t want to say which character she played, she said she was “the greatest party planner”.

“I think it’s going to be really good. I mean, who knows, but I think we have a good shot, and John and John are the killer kids,” citing writers and directors John Francis Daley and Johnathan M. Goldstein (Game Night).

“They know comedy and they know by heart and we had a great cast and we enjoyed doing it. And that’s all you could ask for,” Pine said.

While the game has spawned numerous successful novels, video games, and merchandise, movie adaptations have never been successful.

2000’s Dugeons & Dragons grossed just $15.3 million nationally and $33.9 million worldwide on a $45 million budget.

Pine’s new movie, All the Old Knives, starring Thandiwe Newton and Laurence Fishburne, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 8.

He also directed Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling with Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, which will hit theaters September 23.

The actor is also set to return as James T. Kirk in the Star Trek sequel of the same name and play Walter Kronkite in Newsman.
