Princess Eleanor’s family plan after returning from Wales

Princess Eleanor is back from Wales and start your summer holiday with a cultural family outing. Yesterday afternoon he reappeared with his sister and parents, after a visit to the Teatros del Canal in Madrid. This is his first public appearance after completing the first year of baccalaureate at the English boarding school, which is also attended by Princess Alexia of the Netherlands, whom we saw yesterday in a natural summer inn. The family enjoyed the play De Sheherezade, directed by María Pagés and El Arbi El Harti, which reflects on fear and human violence through an infinite flamenco, popular and classical musical repertoire. It is a story starring a woman whose character shares her knowledge, contradictions, loves, disappointments, strengths, vulnerabilities, insecurities, satisfaction and loneliness with the public, according to those responsible.

Princess Eleanor wore a White dress featuring a print in the form of garnet diamonds, French sleeves and a midi length, which highlighted her slim figure with a belt. The eldest daughter of kings completes the look with white and ecru espadrilles paired with her bag.

The infanta Sofia, for her part, opted for a set of shirt and skirt matching floral print crop top and denim t-shirt. A much more casual outfit than her older sister’s. Queen Letizia, who showed an enviable tan, opted for a black silk body with straps, white trousers and gray ballet flats, while her husband wore a light blue jacket, light trousers and a checked shirt. Both Felipe and Letizia boast very tanned skin that contrasts with that of their daughters.

After nine months at UWC Atlantic College in Wales, Princess Eleanor is taking a break to enjoy her holiday, just like the rest of the students. It was last Friday, June 17, when the boarding school fired the young people to see each other again in the next course. Infanta Sofía will be able to enjoy her sister until the beginning of September, when Leonor will catch the plane to start the 2nd year of the baccalaureate, her last school year. About 360 students between the ages of 16 and 19, from more than 80 different countries, study at the boarding school. In his case the princess Leonor shares a room with three girls of different nationalities.

There is a lot of secrecy from the Royal Household about Princess Leonor’s stay in Wales, and this is the only image we have of the princess at boarding school. An attitude that clashes with that of the Royal House, which published a very natural photo of Princess Alexia, who was also in the 1st year of the Baccalaureate.

A very natural image in which we see the daughter of Máxima de Holanda with a look most casual, a guitar on one shoulder, a bag on the other, a mask and a smile from ear to ear. It’s a picture we’ll never see of Princess Leonor that many would love. The Spanish royal family seems to be getting closer to the idea of making images of this style public. It was possible to see the Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor in a more relaxed setting, on the occasion of the celebration of the coming of age of Ingrid Alexandra of Norway.

Finally the king Felipe VI attended on behalf of the entire Spanish Royal Family and he arrived arm in arm at dinner with Amalia de Holanda, the eldest daughter of Máxima and Guillermo. It’s the most anticipated teenage royal party of the year, but Sofia, Leonor and Letizia turned down the young woman’s coming-out invitation. The three absences caused some controversy and the reasons why they decided not to participate in the celebration are still unknown. The great feast was attended by other other heirs to the throne, such as Amalia of Holland or Victoria of Sweden and her daughter Estela de el rey attended only Ingrid’s Confirmation. We’ll have to wait a little longer to see Leonor and Sofía dressed in long dresses.
