Actress and model Kate Beckinsale left her followers uneasy after taking to Instagram to show off her figure while paying homage to late Dot Cotton actress June Brown.
Kate Beckinsale paid tribute to the late EastEnders icon Dot Cotton on Instagram in a rather unusual way.
The 48-year-old actress shared a series of sensual photos wearing a mini skirt featuring the face of June Brown EastEnders Dot actress.
Kate flaunted her slim figure while posing for an impromptu photo shoot at home on Tuesday (June 21).
The Underworld actress looked gorgeous wearing a black crop top and her polka dot cotton skirt as she posed seductively on a furry sofa.
Kate opted for her long brown locks with her natural curls and titled the sensual post with the word “OiOi”.
The mother of one opted for a soft amount of glam makeup as she posed with one hand in the air and pouted her plump pink lips.
Kate’s followers flocked to the comments section to share their responses to the exclusive tribute.
“Wait, I just realized Dot Cotton is in your lap,” said one follower.
One witty fan wrote: “Nice cotton skirt”, while another added: “I hear Dot say ‘ooh I say! Mr. Opodopoulous would not want this to happen in’ it’s the laundromat ‘”.
Last month, London-born Kate recently admitted that her ironic online content is usually curated for her mother Judy Loe.
It paid tribute to Dot, a much-loved EastEnders character known for his love of gossip and always having a cigarette in hand.
Dot was permanently banned from the soap opera earlier this year following the death of actress June Brown, who died in April at the age of 95.
Dot first appeared on EastEnders in 1985 as the mother of criminal son Nick, appearing on the soap opera until 1993 before returning in 1997.
Her last appearance on the soap opera aired in 2020, with actress June later confirming that she left the soap forever when Dot moved to Ireland.
In April, June’s family announced her passing and asked fans to raise a glass of sweet sherry in honor of her iconic character.
