Sophie Habboo revealed that she burst into tears after her boyfriend Jamie Laing sent a rude message about her by one of her relatives.
Speaking on the couple’s podcast, MIC beauty NearlyWeds, 28, shared how the unknown relative taunted Jamie’s 33-year-old mother Penny, and Penny, who had no doubt read the text during the couple’s first date.
Sophie said: “Your aunt’s sister sent a message to Penny saying, ‘I’m so glad Jamie is okay with Strictly – let’s hope he finds a good partner and can get him away from that horrible Haribo girl.

With a chuckle, Jamie added, “she read it all, still hadn’t read it right, and then she said ‘oh’.
“My sister’s face was expressionless and she couldn’t wait and Sophie went to the bathroom and cried!”
Earlier this year, Jamie revealed that people “can’t understand” how he managed to win over his fiancee, Sophie, because she was “better than him in every way”.
The star confessed during a chat in Lorraine, where she also said how “nervous” she was to promote the influencer.

What do you say? During the couple’s podcast, MIC beauty NearlyWeds, 28, shared how the unknown relative taunted Jamie’s 33-year-old mother, Penny, and unsuspecting Penny read the text during the couple’s first meeting.
The couple got engaged last year after a three-year romance, but recently admitted that they won’t be showing the wedding at MIC because Jamie believes the relationship has a better chance of surviving without the cameras.
About his relationship with Lorraine, he said: “She’s better than me in every way, people look at me on the street, how I do it.”
The couple recently released a new podcast called WhereWeds, where they discuss their plans for an overseas wedding next spring.
said: “Marriage is intense and this is a fun way to capture it. We’re discussing the podcast and it’s real. ”

Hmm: Sophie said: ‘Your sister-in-law sent a message to Penny, ‘I’m so glad Jamie is getting on well – let’s hope he finds a good partner and diverts his attention away from that awful Haribo girl.’

Jamie later said about the offer: “It was the most annoying thing in the world. I have this hotel with candles everywhere and I wrote letters and I went to the door and she read the letters because I was afraid to say the wrong thing. But she said yes.
Sophie then interrupted: “I knocked down the candles and then I started crying, but it was such a happy day.”
Then she revealed some details of their wedding and Jamie said, “We have a personalized perfume for today. For the first dance, I will come by cable car, then I will do a cha cha solo and wear a white dress.
‘We want to do it abroad. It will be around this time next year.’
Elsewhere in the interview, they cited a private conversation they had with MailOnline, saying they wouldn’t be filming the wedding.
The couple turned down offers to film their wedding for the Made In Chelsea special after the Strictly star left the E4 series to save their romance.
In their first interview together, the boyfriends reveal that they decided not to turn their marriage into a literal spin-off because Jamie believes relationships have a better chance of surviving without cameras.
The Candy Kittens owner told MailOnline that her departure from Made In Chelsea was inevitable after she realized that reality TV was “hard on the soul” and that she wanted to marry former co-star Sophie.
Jamie said: “We were asked to do a TV show, but it’s difficult.
“I’ve been doing reality for a long time, and it’s very difficult for the soul. I don’t think TV is on your terms, so if you’re not in control of these things, it’s pretty tough.
“It’s one of those things you have to decide if you want to go back in the way of reality TV.

‘When will it end?’: The couple has decided not to turn their marriage into a spinoff because Jamie believes relationships have a better chance of surviving without cameras.
‘What will happen when you get married? We’re doing another wedding show… when will it end? For now, I park the truth.’
“It’s a day for us, our family and friends,” added Sophie, who signed on with her husband-to-be.
Jamie, who proposed to Sophie in handwritten letters at London’s luxury Rosewood hotel in December, swore he was “done” with reality TV because he wanted to preserve his future marriage.
“I left Made In Chelsea because I didn’t want my relationship with Sophie in front of the camera. There were other reasons but that was the biggest one.
“I’ve seen a lot of relationships fail on reality shows and I didn’t want that to happen.
“Relationships in TV shows are difficult due to the constant need for content. Relationships can be mundane and you have to make things interesting so that things get even more extravagant and that’s hard.”
Streaming their new WhereWeds podcast this week, the Chelsea couple are now busy planning their wedding, but have yet to set a date or book a spot after battling the Covid-19 backlog.
The big day is masterfully organized when Jamie and Sophie team up with a wedding planner and have a guest list of 220 that includes her friend Strictly, along with former co-stars and childhood friends of Jamie Caggie Dunlop, Hugo Taylor, and Spencer Matthews. Giovanni Pernice.
