Model and dancer Tasha Ghouri is one of the Love Island contestants hoping to win the ITV dating show and has revealed how she will spend the prize money.
Love Island star Tasha Ghouri has revealed that if she wins the ITV dating contest she will donate half of the prize money to charity.
The winning pair will receive £ 50,000 but have the option to split the winnings or only one person can keep the money.
However, before entering the Love Island mansion, Tasha revealed that if she wins, she will donate half of the prize money to the charity The National Deaf Children’s Society.
Tasha, who is Love Island’s first deaf contestant and wears a cochlear implant, told reporters before her stay at the mansion: “If I win Love Island, my plan is to donate 50% to the National Society for Deaf Children. .
“I’ve already raised money for charity and it’s something I love to do and give back.”
Prior to her appearance on Love Island, model and dancer Tasha spoke of being born deaf and “overcoming many obstacles” growing up with a disability she now calls her “superpower”.
She also received praise after appearing in an ASOS campaign last year with her cochlear implant in the ad campaign.

Tasha and her partner, Andrew Le Page, are currently one of the pairs listed as favorites to win, with an odds of 5-1 according to bookmaker William Hill.
They are closely followed by Luca and Gemma at 6 to 1 and Jacques and Paige at 7 to 1.
