Will the Mercury return to the Avengers: Judgement Day? This is what Evan Peters thinks

The actor, who played Peter Maksimoff in the films “X -Men” of Fox, spoke about his attitude towards this role and the possibility of appearance in future Marvel projects.

In an interview with ComicBook, Peters said that he was not tired of constant rumors about his return.

“No, haha. In fact, no. I am interested in it myself,” he admitted.

The actor remembered how he liked Mercury:

“I was very nice. It was great to look a bit in his strange home. I think it would be interesting to reveal the lake. And the relationship with Magneto – that would be cool. So we will see how it will go.

Peters emphasized that he would like to show more detailed about the screen tires between Mercury and Magneto.

The last time Evan Peters appeared in the role of “Pseudo -Piter” in the “Wanda/Vizhn” series in 2021. Then the fans began to rebuild theories about the possible return of the character – and then it turned out that Peters is the role of a completely passing character and, in fact, just trolling the audience.

Officially, Marvel Peters has not yet confirmed, but the development of the theme of the Multi -Senior leaves the chance to reduce the hero. In the nearest films, Marvel is planning to return to the scenes of characters of the X men from Fox.

“Avengers: Judgement Day”, which will be removed by Anthony and Joe Rousseau, will be released on December 18, 2026. The film appears Patrick Stuart (Charles Xavier), Ian McCellen (Magneto), James Marsden (Cyclops) and Rebecca Roman (Mystic). The sequel “Avengers: Secret Wars” will be released on December 17, 2027 – actors from earlier films about “X -Men” are also expected.

So far there are no official plans for Mercury’s return, but Peters himself does not mind playing his beloved hero again. The closest premiere with his participation is the film “Throne: Ares”, which will be released in October 2025.
