The general passion for remakes, rebellies and continuation in Hollywood continues.

ABC officially ordered the continuation of the Cult Series “Clinic” (Scrubs) immediately before the 2025-2026 season, and the fans of the project have many reasons for joy: not only John “Jay Dorian (Zao Braff), Christopher Fason (Donald Fason) and Elliot Red (Sarah Chok) Pres.

Judy Reyes will play Karl Espinosa again, who remind fans as a strong, ironic and principle nurse, who was one of the pillars of the “clinic” for eight seasons. Admittedly, because of the employment in another project (“great potential”), Reyes will return to the new “clinic”, not in the main composition, but will appear in the status of a invited star and periodically.

Another big Camback – John Si McGinley will again play the role of a hard but honest Dr. Cox. Just like in the original, his character appears as a normal guest.

Rumors also indicate the return of Ken Jenkins (cynical former chief doctor Bob Kelso) and Nila Flynna (legendary cleaner), but their participation has not yet been officially confirmed.

The plot of the new season, according to the makers, will not be a continuation of the “day-in-day”: events will unfold years after the final of the eighth season.

According to the official synopsis, Jay Di and the schedule are starting to work together again. A lot has changed: medicines, trainees, but their friendship resisted. Showranner Bill Lawrence emphasizes: “Clinic” is a project that means a lot to him, and he is incredibly happy to collect the team again. In an interview, Lawrence noted that in the new season he was interested in how the characters have changed over the years, and how medicine itself was transformed:

“The final of the eighth season was Jay Dabra about how everything could be. But nobody said it happened. It is interesting to see who the heroes were now, and how the former trainees became teachers for a new generation.”

There is no official release date for the continuation of the “clinic”.
