“Sherlock and daughter”: the release date of the season 2 of the series in question

Despite the impressive success of the debut season, there is no official confirmation of the CW TV channel yet.

The series, which started in early 2025, offers a fresh look at the famous detective: this time Sherlock Holmes unites the armed forces with his alleged daughter to unravel the most difficult in his career.

David Tulis, known for many of the role in Harry Potter, is responsible for the image of Holmes and Blu Hunt played the role of Amelia. The most important intrigue of history is not only in new riddles, but also in the living dynamics between the main characters, who holds onto the public of the first episodes.

Interestingly, the series distinguishes a room format and a modest budget – unlike large British or Hollywood adjustments, Sherlock and daughter give more room to the script and acting. This approach justified itself: the final of the first season showed record assessments and towards the end of the season the number of spectators increased by 20%. Moreover, the popularity of the series is not only limited by the United States-in the UK, Sherlock and Daughter, the top 10 are stable according to views.

In Kinopoisk, the rating “Sherlock and daughter” – Strong 7.5 out of 10.

The mouth also worked: the rights to show have already taken over the television channels of Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Greece and other countries. Such successes usually become an important argument for expansion, but this time everything is not that simple.

The fact is that the CW television channel itself is not worried about the simplest times: in recent years it has reduced the number of own projects, and even successful series such as Riverdale and Walker were closed despite the assessments. That is why the “Sherlock and the daughter” is in the dark so far, and there is no question of any production of the second season.

However, the makers are optimistic. Screenwriter Shelley Goldstin noted at one of the recent festivals:

“The ideas simply climbed themselves, and there were too many episodes for eight episodes. If fate is beneficial for us, you can tell many cool stories with these heroes.”

Now it all depends on the decisions of leadership and of the figures – if the dynamics are stored, the series may get green light for continuation.
