The second film about the Superman with the subtitle “Man of Tomorrow” (“Man of Tomorrow”) will be released much earlier than the fans had expected.
DC Studios director James Gann confirmed: The premiere will be held on July 9, 2027. Together with the date, he published Art Jim Lee, who represents Superman and Lex Lutor – so the return of one of the most important villains of the comics is now officially confirmed.
Lex Lutor returns
Lex Lutor is perhaps the most recognizable enemy of Superman – and his appearance in continuation is not surprising. Nicholas Holt will play the billionaire prison again: he also shared his announcement in social networks and finally repaired his coincidence. Remember that Luther was exposed by Superman in the final of the first part and was sent to BEL-RIV-A prison for particularly dangerous criminals.
Who else is coming back in the second film?
- David Torensvet Again, Clark Kent / Superman will try the cloak. The actor confirmed his participation by publishing the same concept art and reminding that the studio signed it for different films at the same time.
- Isabela Merced (The Yastreb Girl) In the comments, the emotions did not hold against Gann’s post: “See you soon”-A clear hint of the return of her heroine.
- AARON PIERRE Ready to play John Stuart (Green Lantern). Although he was not in the first film, he wrote after the announcement of the sequel: “Yes, that’s how”, the rumors about the appearance of lanterns in the franchise.
- Frank Grillo Again, he will appear as Rick Flag Sr. And has already succeeded in sharing the news of the sequel in his social networks.
- Nicholas Holt – Luther, as above.

Who else can appear?
Under the heroes, who, according to rumors and hints, can return or can first appear in the future, shout:
- Rachel Brosnahn (Lois Lane)
- Naitan Phillion (Guy Gardner)
- Eddie Gategi (Mr. Terriff)
- Anthony Carrigan (Rex Mason / Metamorph)
- Millie Alcok (Super Girl)
- Crypto (Superman Dog)
- Michaela Hoover (Kat Grant)
- Skyler Gizondo (Jimmy Olsen)
- Wendell Pier (Perry White)
- John Sina (peacemaker)
- Jason Momoa (Lobo)
Many of them have already been seen in earlier DC films or have been explained as part of an extensive universe, which continues to build the GANN around Superman.
