Fans of the youth series “Likhachi” (original name – motorheads), published on Prime Video in 2025, still hoped for continuation. Now it was now announced that the platform closed the project after the first season. Nevertheless, the story has a chance for a second life.
The executive producer of the Jason Sigraves series in an interview with Deadline noted that, despite the decision of Prime Video, the team is proud of the done work.

The reasons for the closure were not officially declared. At the same time, the “Scorchs” showed good reviews: the series was part of the top 10 of the most popular platform projects and distinguished itself by a high response from spectators. According to Luminate, the show fell in the top 50, and at the end of May it achieved 19th place the most viewed titles. On Rotten Tomatoes, the series has 95% of the positive spectators’ reviews and 78% of critics, in Kinopoisk – strong 7.5 of the 10 of Russian spectators.
Despite the cancellation, the producer is optimistic: he hopes that the project can find a new house on a different platform.
“Thanks to the enthusiasm of the fans, the series has become a noticeable phenomenon. We believe that there is a platform that will support the” Dashings “and give them the chance to continue,” Sigraves added.
Such stories have already happened earlier – for example, after closing the Cobra Kai, the YouTube project moved to Netflix and the Manifesto and Lucifer also received a new life on other services. So the hope for the second season at the “Dashing” is still alive.
