Pierce Brosnan asked back to Bondian – as a pensioner

Pierce Brosnan, who played James Bond in four films from 1995 to 2002, admitted unexpectedly: he would not mind returning to the image of Agent 007. Only now – in the form of binding on retirement.

In an interview with Radio Times, the actor joked that if the director of the next film about Bond Denis Villewev has a special idea for him, he is ready to consider participating:

“I would agree without hesitation. Why not? This is an excellent entertainment. You can beat age, makeup, wigs, add prostheses … who knows?”

Brosnan became the fifth performer of the role and made his debut in The Golden Eye (1995). His last film in the franchise was “Die, but not now” (2002). After him the baton was picked up by Daniel Craig, who completed his five -year -old “Bondovskaya” career in 2021 by the painting “for no time to die”.
