Even the author of “Game of Thrones” praised this sci-fi series of 2025 (it is already extensive for season 2)

But this time he made an exception: on his blog the writer praised the new Science Fiction series Apple TV+ “Diaries of the Killerbot” (Murder bot Diaries), noted that the makers succeeded in making “Science Fiction correct.”

“Stories about the killerbot have always been very funny and the series brought this mood. I am waiting for the continuation. It is nice to see that someone really knows how to work with science fiction,” Martin wrote.

What is the series about?

The diaries of the Killerbot are based on the cult series of books by Marta Wells, the literary prizes of Hugo and Nebelus. In the center of history is an Android guard who especially likes to view soapopera’s, but at the same time regularly saves people. The leading role is played by Alexander Skarsgard and Chris and Paul are responsible for production.

The first season ended in May 2025 and received a warm welcome:

Although some pointed to the errors in adjustment, most fans of the Wells novels admit: the series retained the tone and atmosphere of the original source and neatly prepared the land for the film adjustment of the second book of the cycle – “artificial condition”.

Apple TV+ announced the extension of the series for the second season on the last day. Against the background of the recent confusion of Skydance and Paramount, some of the projects was in full condition, but this had no influence on the “diaries of the Killerbot”. The series will continue to photograph based on CBS Studios, which will save both the cast and the creative team.
