Harry Potter is going to build a real school on the site of the new HBO series. No, not Hogwarts with his spirits and boilers for drinks, but a fully official educational institution that will work well during filming.
The idea came after the studio thought of the schedule of young actors. In original films, the young stars of Harry Potter studied with invited teachers and then returned to normal schools between filming. Now we have decided to do otherwise – organize the educational process directly in the studio. According to the plan, the school will house a maximum of 600 people, so not only the most important actors, but also the masses will fall under the training.
The city council in Watford (this is Northwest of London) has already given permission to use temporary modular buildings for school for a period of 10 years. At the same time, the studio in the application indicated that we are talking about ‘an important new television series, which will be located in the studio for the next eight to ten years’. Based on this, calculated Warner Bros. Of course in the long term: the shooting has just begun, for every book for 1 season, so in total the film process will take about ten years according to plan.
There were enough people who wanted to go into the project: more than 30 thousand children were held for the main roles. Now the main characters are played by Arabella Stanton (Hermione), Dominic McLaFlin (Harry) and Alaster Stout (Ron).

For comparison: in original films the actors were much less organized. Daniel Radcliffe immediately studied in three private schools in London, while studying on the site. In 2012 Radcliffe said:
“I realized that they went to the university to find out what to do in life. And I already knew this and already did it.”
He added about the performance of Emma Watson:
“To be honest, she respects her, but I couldn’t. I am happy with my numbers, but in addition to the results they look miserable.”
Watson combined training with private lessons and studied at two private schools in Oxford. As a result, she obtained a diploma from the University of Brown in the United States and is now working to achieve a doctorate in Oxford.
Rupert Grint studied at the Richard Hale School in Hartford and threw a school at the age of 16 to concentrate on an acting career. All three were involved in teachers in the set – from one to five hours a day, an average of approximately 15 hours a week.
