The film, which was reprimanded in cinemas and mentioned the most controversial horror of the year, suddenly became an online hit.
“Woman in the Yard”, the new psychological thriller from Blumhouse, achieved first place in the Stacock streaming on the day of his release – despite the weak figures of critics and the cool reception of the audience.
The premiere of the film took place on the Kassa on March 28, but he did not achieve a success with cash. With a budget of $ 12 million, the photo all over the world raised 23.3 million, of which almost everything is an internal American cash register. The reviews were also far from enthusiastic: the film only has 40% of the critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and the audience on Popcormeter gave 47%. Russian spectators appreciated the “woman in the garden” in the same way – in Kinopoisk he has an estimate of 5.2 out of 10.

But the situation changed dramatically after the release at streaming. On April 15, the “woman in the garden” appeared in the “figure” and now – after two and a half months – went on the peacock platform. And literally in one day she went out in the first place and switched the cartoon “Mast Me 3” from the top, which was kept there for four days in a row.
The film was determined by Zhauma Coeing Serrus according to the script of the debutant Sam Stefanak. The most important role was played by Daniel Deduer, known for the “Atlanta” and “Taste for Life” series. Her heroine is a woman who survived the sudden death of her husband and was alone with two children. Once a stranger appears in black on the lawn in the house, who only expressed one sentence: “Today is that day.”
Reviewers noticed the atmosphere and acted by the grandfather, but criticized the film for excessive uncomplicated and weak drama.
