The maximum crypt -end will certainly be angry with many.
The long -awaited horror “28 years later” was released in the cinema – the new head of the cult franchise, which was again led by the Oscar winner Danny Boyle. The film is launching a whole trilogy and the audience is of course interested in: is it worthwhile to wait for something after the credits?
The answer is short: no, there are no scenes after the credits. You can get up and go out quietly – don’t miss anything. But the final of the film itself raises many more questions than answers – in the best traditions of Cliffhanthors, George RR Martin and “Games of Thrones”.
Caution, spoilers!
Almost 30 years have elapsed since the furious virus of the laboratory escaped and large -Britain on the ground turned into hell, where the infected people behave like hectic zombies.
The story unfolds around a 12-year-old boy named Spike, who lives on an island during a tide cut off. This temporary water collection saves locals from infected people. The film starts with flashback: during the first days of the epidemic, a crowd of infected attacks attacks a boy with the name Jimmy. And then – a jump in time. Spike and his father (he is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) who we meet while hunting the mainland-DIT is a kind of initiation. Mother Spike (Jody Comer) stayed at home – she sounded to bed and suffers from a mysterious disease that causes memory loss.

Because of the final of the film, Spike concludes, after he has lost his mother, leaving the island and exploring the country alone. But as expected, a group of infected people thinks it quickly. He flees, and here is the strangest: he suddenly saves a man in a clear purple training suit and with golden chains, who calls himself Jimmy. Yes, the same boy who survived in the very first phase in a wonderful way. Now he refuses a group of young people armed with gigantic spears – this gang easily makes a straightforward infected.
In the last scene, Jimmy Spike addresses a proposal to become a member of their group. And everything breaks down on this.
The end clearly leaves the tank for a follow -up – it is already in production and received the name “28 years later: the temple of the bones.” The premiere is planned for January 16, 2026.
