Ezra Miller, who for a long time was not visible on the scenes or on the red carpet, suddenly appeared at the Filmen Italy Festival in Italy.
The actor posed for photos, spoke with the organizers and gave the first outright interview in a few years, in which he spoke about the difficult events in his recent past.
This is the first time since 2022, when Miller says at least something understandable after his name became a synonym for the disaster. The actor continued a scandal for a scandal: the arrest in Hawaii after a fight in Karaokebar, accusations of intimidation in Germany, the story of three children and their mother, which he reportedly saved in an “unsafe environment” on his farm in Vermont, an accusation of theft with a hack.
Ezra himself called this period of his life a “melting boiler” – a test, after which he was not sure if he would survive. He admitted that time showed him who really was in the neighborhood and who just pretended.
“If you work in the industry, it is very easy to be surrounded by people who spit on you and your condition. But there were people who stayed. And I owe them forever forever.”
He added that he does not take his fault – there are things that he sincerely regrets. But all this darkness, as he expressed it, “taught him a lesson.”
Formally, the accusations against Miller were removed: the restrictive measures that were introduced in 2022 were canceled last June. But his return to the public space is very slow. Neither the studio nor the agency is in a hurry to resume work with him – which is quite expected.
