While talking to the presentation of Disney during the Cineeurope Convention in Barcelona, president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige confirmed it The Fantastic Four: First Steps will guide directly in the next great team event, Avengers: Doomsday.

That scene heavily implied that the Fantastic Four would be crossed in the main MCU temporal sequence by the end of their film.
