Iain Lee and Rebekah Vardy appeared together on I’m A Celebrity in 2017, but the radio star spoke of his animosity towards WAG nearly five years later.
Broadcaster Iain Lee claimed Rebekah Vardy harassed him during his jungle trip in I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
Rebekah, the 40-year-old wife of English footballer Jamie Vardy, starred alongside Iain on the ITV show five years ago, initially raising concerns about bullying while they were still on the show in 2017.
Iain, 48, took to Twitter to comment on the footballer’s wife, saying it made him “fucking unhappy and isolated.”
This happens when he promotes mental health issues, which has particularly angered Iain due to his alleged experience with her.
What did Iain Lee say about Rebekah Vardy?

Iain didn’t keep his thoughts to himself on Twitter as he shared his experience with Rebekah during their time together in the jungle.
He then added his response to the outlet requesting the initial interview, clarifying his objections to Rebekah.
He continued: “I feel I have to explain my refusal. I don’t know if you saw anything from I’m A Celebrity when I was there.
“Vardy was a bully, a liar and a manipulator. He was part of a team that attacked me and made much of my time there miserable.

“The first comment he made to me was ‘I think you’re a little silly.’ She encouraged people not to talk and left me isolated (apart from two other campers who weren’t fooled by her). “
He continued: “When he left the pitch, he told lies about me. She mistreated my sister who was in Australia and said: ‘In my world, men don’t cry.
“Part of me is hoping their email is a ploy to get an interview from me, which I think is about their bravery and what they claim is about their bullying and belittling.
“I hope the latter is correct because if you are looking to portray her as a mental health ambassador, I fear you couldn’t be further from the truth.”
What did Rebekah Vardy say about the allegations?

The star did not respond to Iain’s new comments, but previously denied any allegations of bullying in 2017.
The WAG said at the time: ‘You know what, I was his biggest supporter. A bully? I’ve never been a bully in my entire life. “
He even sobbed as he dismissed the idea of being a “leader” of any bullying against Iain.
However, this isn’t the first time Iain has talked about his bullying allegations, as he shared his opinion on talkRADIO in 2019.
He said “I didn’t get along with Rebekah [in the jungle]. I found it very dark … I got a very dark energy out of it. The first thing he said to me was, “I thought you were a fucking idiot.
“I found it completely unpleasant. It’s no secret that she and Jamie Lomas were my least favorite. “
