Love Island’s latest bombshell, Ekin-Su, turned heads as it made its way onto our screens last night, but now fans are sure she’s coming up with some sneaky tricks with her social media.
Love Island fans have certainly seen “evidence” that the new bombshell Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has “bought” most of her Instagram followers.
The star, who was heralded as a new bombshell last night (June 7), currently has 353,000 followers on Instagram, while following just 316 people.
He has posted 126 times on the platform.
And eagle-eyed Reddit users turned to the SocialBlade social media analytics platform to do some research and turned to the platform to share their results.
One user posted: “Can I say with almost certainty that Ekin-Su has bought most of his followers?

“The most tangible proof I have is to watch [through] his SocialBlade stats, which show a handful of one-week periods over the past 9 months where he would have made 50,000 (most were over 200,000 in a week and his one post this week only had 30 comments?) and then every two weeks essentially no gain.
“And there were weeks where he lost 50,000 at a time. Looking at her engagement, she only has about 1,200 of her likes on her casting reveal ad (hers on her her page, not the official Love Island one) despite her 350,000 followers.
“For reference, Shannon last year [Singh]The cast reveal announcement on his IG got 30,000 likes (and I think he had less than 200,000 before the show). So yeah, the girl poses as a bigger influencer than she clearly is. I guess I would have around 30,000 real followers. “

Another user had done his research, as he quickly replied, “I also saw it on IslanderData! Such a large amount. Surprisingly, they still do it in such large quantities when it’s easy to tell these days if you’re buying followers.”
As another echoed: “Comments are eye-opening. Someone with that many followers shouldn’t get 30 comments on a post.
“Something is wrong when you get sponsorships and brand deals from companies based on the number of followers,” said someone else.

However, others were quick to defend Ekin-Su, suggesting that the Turkish actress could have been followed by her various TV shows that are simply no longer active.
One replied: “No, it was in a famous Turkish TV series called Kuzey Yildizi. His huge following makes sense. “
As someone else said, “There’s nothing wrong with that. Some people like to spend their money on clothes, others on concerts or vacations. Others like to spend it to get people to follow them on social media ”.
Love Island airs Monday through Friday at 9pm on ITV2.
