EastEnders viewers have learned how Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) will be exposed after blaming Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) for a car accident.

Walford’s villain was in the driver’s seat when the car she and love rival Linda were riding in crashed in dramatic scenes that recently aired on BBC One.

However, in a major twist, Janine decided to frame her enemy for the accident, dragging her into the driver’s seat.

Janine then decided to stage it to make it look like Linda was in control of the car when it crashed, even going so far as to pour half a bottle of alcohol all over the car.

A passer-by also stopped and asked if he was okay.

Claiming not to have her phone, the crafty Janine asked the lady for help before running off to find her “lost dog”.

At the end of the episode, Janine was spotted walking away with her daughter Scarlett when her boyfriend Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) called her from the hospital to tell her that Linda had been injured and was in a coma.

Soap fans are sure they know how Janine will be taken for her lies.

On Twitter, a fan wrote: “Does Janine watch any drama? There is no point in putting Linda in the driver’s seat because the bruises on her seat belt show that she was in the passenger seat. “

Another added, “Oh Janine … they’ll know someone moved her from the seat belt marks, the stamina marks, her dirty feet.”

A third person posted: “Linda has the seat belt mark on the left side.”

While a fourth social media user said: “Linda will definitely have the seat belt mark to show she was on the passenger side of the car.”

Janine came up with her master plan after Linda threatened to sue her for attacking Nancy Carter in a financial scam.

Arguing why Janine came up with the plan in the first place, Charlie told her digital spy: “I think it’s panic.

“I think when he moves Linda does her best not to look guilty in that situation.

“That’s when Janine is at her worst because she’s not thinking about it … or is she?

“It’s his natural instinct to run away, at the end of the day, he’s the most self-absorbed person you could ever want to meet.”

EastEnders airs Monday through Thursday on BBC One at 8pm.
