Wanda was younger than everyone thought.
The first two episodes of the Disney+ series It’s All Agatha have already hit streaming, and fans were happy with showrunner Jac Schaeffer’s approach to creating a project about the witch Agatha Harkness.
The series opens with Agatha caught up in a spell that has turned her life into something akin to the true crime series Mare of Easttown. In this altered reality, Agatha has become a detective investigating the murder of a young girl.
Fans initially couldn’t understand why Schaeffer decided to start the series with such a plot twist. But the true identity of the murdered girl explained everything – It’s All Agatha takes place three years after the end of WandaVision, and the murder victim turns out to be none other than Wanda herself.
For the first time, MCU writers have officially confirmed that Scarlet Witch has died since the events of Doctor Strange 2. Moreover, fans were finally able to find out Wanda’s real age, making the fate of this anti-heroine even more tragic.
In the first episode of the spin-off, Detective Agatha described the victim as follows: “She was almost thirty, green eyes, height 170 centimeters. Scarlet hair.”
Yes, Wanda wasn’t even 30 yet when she died, which makes her journey into the MCU incredibly tragic. She had to kill her beloved Vision to defeat Thanos, and then she completely challenged the Marvel multiverse.
Russian and foreign viewers received the first two episodes of “It’s All Agatha” quite positively – users of IMDb and Kinopoisk rated the quality of the series at 6.7 points.
