The film was released worldwide on September 12 and grossed only $5 million on a budget of $30 million – now the film will look for new potential viewers on the Internet, where “The Killer’s Game” is set to be released on October 4.
The action film, which also stars Sofia Boutella and Ben Kingsley, tells the story of hitman Joe, who decides to have his health checked after suffering from a series of sudden severe headaches and discovers that he is terminally ill.
In order not to torture himself, Joe hires the best killers in the world and orders them to kill him, but soon the case takes an unexpected turn: the hospital reports that they mixed up all the papers and that Joe is as healthy as a child. os. Now the hero must stop the hired killers who have already taken on their task.
“The Killer Game” didn’t receive much praise from critics, but only 43% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the average viewer liked it – on the same aggregator for the film 80% positive reviews, although in Russia only “The Killer’s Game” was rated 6.4 out of 10.
