The Canadian series is sure to be a hit.
While major cable TV channels continue to regularly air series about lawyers, special forces and doctors, the producers of the Fox channel decided to release a truly original project: a cozy and very nostalgic detective story.
We are talking about the series “Murder in a Small Town”, which many critics have already called an ideal project for long autumn evenings. There are no gunfights or explosions in this series, but there is great intrigue and a pleasant atmosphere of a small Canadian town.
Small Town Murders follows detective Carl Ahlberg, who moves to a quiet town on the Sunshine Coast to escape the crime of the big city. But Albert won’t be able to relax – mysterious murders begin to take place in the city.

The Canadian series was led by Rossif Sutherland, with one of Hollywood’s best character actors, James Cromwell, making an unexpected appearance in the background.
The series hasn’t aired on Fox yet, so it doesn’t have an IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes rating. Some critics have already seen the show and have raved about it.
“Murder in a Small Town” doesn’t aim for the depth of great TV shows, but it has enough quiet drama and small-town charm to keep us on the edge of our seats. And there are enough ingredients in the cast and the setting to make a good drama about a mysterious small town.” – noted critic Devan Schuber.
The first episode of the nostalgic show will air on September 24, with the next seven episodes airing weekly.
