Chris Hemsworth has proven to be a bit of a local hero since he moved to Broken Hill, New South Wales, to shoot the Mad Max sequel, Furiosa, last month.

The 38-year-old megastar has appeared regularly in the town of Outback, chatting with locals and visitors.

And on Friday morning Chris proved once again why he’s one of Australia’s toughest stars when he stopped by to sign with a group of superfans.

Jake Wagenfeller told the Daily Mail that he and his friends drove to Broken Hill for ten hours in hopes of meeting their hero.

Chris had just finished breakfast at 10:30 am with his 45-year-old wife, Elsa Pataky, when fans approached the star on an alley in Broken Hill.

Elsa and Chris then spent ten minutes chatting with fans, posing for photos and signing autographs.

Both stars were ready for the cold country winter.

Looking disheveled in his apron, baseball cap, and dark glasses, Chris wore a thick fleece parka over a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Meanwhile, Elsa looked great in a beige sweater and a nice leather and wool bomber jacket.

She wore her long blonde hair and completed her daily outfit with sunglasses.
