It seems like this is the end.
“Despicable Me 4” was a success in cinemas worldwide and collected an impressive box office.
This was made possible by both a fascinating plot, with a new villain at its center, and charming heroes led by Gru’s yellow minions.
However, the ending of the cartoon raised questions among viewers.
The final scene hinted at the end of an era, as all of the franchise’s antagonists came together at once and danced to the song Everybody Wants to Rule the World.

We’re not just talking about Maxime Le Male, but Vector, El Macho, Balthazar Brat, but also the ‘bad guys’ from the spin-offs – Scarlett and Herb Overkill and members of the Fierce Six.
When the film’s director was asked if he should take this as a final farewell to the fans, he replied:
“I would love to say yes. I know the box office for Part 4 and Minions 3 is huge, but I thought this was a unique opportunity to bring characters from across the MCU together for a big moment.”
According to Chris Renaud, it was like a “fun reunion/crossover”, much like the multi-cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine.

And if the director is mentally prepared for a new sequel to hit the screens, then it certainly isn’t a live-action adaptation.
“God, I hope that doesn’t happen. The thing about the animated world is that it’s animated, and we can do a lot of things that we can get away with,” he explained to ComicBook.
