But everyone noticed the changes in Daario Naharis’ appearance, as the golden-haired and clean-shaven Ed Skrein was replaced by the brash and bearded Michiel Huisman.
It cannot be said that the latter was closer to the book canon, as in the original source Daenerys Targaryen’s lover is described as having a blue moustache with gilded tips.
Both artists embodied different images of the same hero, so why did Skrein leave such a popular project?
