Yellowstone season 6 release date: only a few months until the finale

Initially, the creators wanted to split the finale of Yellowstone into two parts, but the plans were interrupted by a writers’ strike.

It was then decided to release the remaining episodes as the sixth and final season.

In May, Paramount Networks announced the start of filming, and the release date was recently announced – November 10, 2024.

What is still unknown is how many episodes viewers can expect.

Speaking to reporters, Josh Lucas, who plays the young John Dutton, said that the writers were planning 10 episodes, but his colleague Ian Bohan denied these words, noting that we are only talking about 6-7.

Regardless of how many or few there are, the cast promises fans the best ending to a show in television history.

Now, there are just over a few months left before audiences find out whether Kevin Costner will return to the screens following a high-profile dispute with showrunner Taylor Sheridan.

Information in the press and statements from the star herself are so scattered that no one can say for sure.

Complicating Matters is a new planned spinoff starring Matthew McConaughey, whose hero could theoretically be joined by Rip and Beth from the original project. That is, if the head of the family still dies.

The Yellowstone universe will not stop expanding here.

In addition to the revamp of the prequel 1923, the studio has also announced another project called 1944, which will presumably take the clan back to World War II.
