The science fiction project looks controversial, to say the least.
For those who missed the six full episodes of “Terminator,” Netflix has prepared an unwelcome surprise. One of the favorite franchises of everyone who grew up in the 80s and 90s has suddenly been continued in the form of an anime.

Not everyone in Russia likes Japanese animated series with specific art, but that’s okay. Viewers can expect a total reboot of the beloved universe, in which there is simply no more room for the legendary characters from the cult first parts.
Do you think Arnold Schwarzenegger was invited to at least do the voice acting, at least for a cameo? Netushki. Even Sarah Connor will not be in the plot at all, as well as the “liquid” T-800 and all those “war machines” that we have been able to remember from the cinematic part of the franchise.
“Terminator: Zero” will show what happened in Japan on the eve of Judgment Day (and it doesn’t matter that major events were happening in the U.S. at the time, right?), as well as the confrontation between Skynet, which regained consciousness, versus humanity 25 years later.
Tokyo-based scientist Malcolm Lee decides to create his own advanced artificial intelligence, designed to protect the world from the rampaging Skynet, which will send yet another killer robot to a new enemy in the future.
“Chewed 500 times”, “What else can be filmed here?”, “Why do we need this miracle without Schwartz?”, they are indignant on the internet.
The anime premieres on August 29th, and if nothing else, the showrunners can be commended for this – according to Terminator lore, it was on this date that Judgment Day took place – Skynet started a nuclear war.
