
A royal reporter told BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty that the issue of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was “difficult to address” ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Naga Munchetty revealed that she was told to “be careful” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to “not distract” from the Platinum Jubilee.
The BBC star presented BBC Breakfast live from Buckingham Palace on Thursday 2 June, where she spoke to BBC Royal Correspondent Daniela Relph about the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
Naga asked the royal expert about Harry and Meghan’s attendance at the Queen’s special event, marking 70 years of Her Majesty’s service to the throne.
Daniela confirmed to viewers that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will appear at the Jubilee, stay at the Windsor Palace and attend the Trooping the Color ceremony on Thursday.

However, he admitted to Naga that Harry and Meghan’s situation had been “difficult to deal with” prior to the big royal event.
Trooping the Color is a historic British ceremony in which British Army regiments march for the Queen, who is honored with greetings, music and a flight from the Royal Air Force.
Speaking of Harry and Meghan Naga, he said: “I think it is established that they will be here. Am I here? We have been told to be careful that they do not distract from this event.”

Daniela replied: “Yes, that’s right. They are here. We have received some clarification on the Harry and Meghan issue from Buckingham Palace. They are here. They will stay in Windsor and they will be here for Trooping. “Color today.
The royal expert explained that the Sussex will not be taking part in the Trooping the Color event.
Instead, they will be part of a “larger royal group” who will watch from a separate building and be surrounded by other members of the royal family.
