The series “Daddy’s Daughters” was once very popular. And even now there is a sequel coming out, which of course is not that interesting, but still. And it turns out that the sitcom was loved not only in Russia. In Germany it has its own remake, but there turned out to be something wrong with it.
What is the name of the series?
The show was called ‘House Full of Daughters’. The plot is the same, just slightly adapted to different realities. And so the same father and the same five girls he tries to keep an eye on.
But while our series lasted twenty seasons, the project was canceled in Germany after the first 35 episodes. It was probably not that easy to adapt the series.
And although this also has its own crammer, gothic and “Button” (did you guess that this is Button?), many Russian viewers noted that the heroes turned out to be completely different from those in the original:
“It’s such a shame that the actors are so poorly chosen. The look and style of the game don’t match the characters of the original characters at all… it’s a shame.”
On IMDb the project was rated very modestly: only 3.9 points and without a single review. But our compatriots played it out in its entirety in the comments under one of the episodes on YouTube:
“What did they do to Galina Sergeevna, since she looks the same age as Button?”, “I’m scared to see this”, “They ruined everything”, “They even stole the nickname Tarantula, it’s so disgusting”, “Worse than Dom-2.”
